Contributor Guidelines & Image Usage Policy

Camerapixo Press is an international visual journalism platform dedicated to publishing high-quality photographic content. To ensure legal compliance, editorial integrity, and protection of all parties involved, we require all contributors to follow the guidelines outlined below.

1. Ownership & Copyright

By submitting images to Camerapixo Press, you represent and warrant that:

• You are the original author and copyright holder of the submitted content
• The images are entirely your own work, captured by you
• The images have not been sourced, downloaded, copied, or licensed from third-party agencies (including but not limited to Associated Press, Getty Images, Reuters, Shutterstock, or similar)
• The images have not been generated, recreated, or altered using AI or third-party tools in any way that violates copyright or licensing laws
• You have full legal rights to grant permission for publication

Camerapixo Press does not accept third-party licensed or redistributed images unless explicitly authorized and documented.

2. Editorial Use & Responsibility

All submitted images are intended strictly for:

• Editorial / journalistic use only
• Publication within Camerapixo Press digital and printed media

The contributor remains fully responsible for:

• The authenticity of the work
• The legality of image capture
• Compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and event policies

The contributor is solely responsible for ensuring that all submitted content complies with applicable laws and regulations.

3. Event Photography & Accreditation

If images are taken during events (sports, press, public or private gatherings):

• The contributor must comply with all accreditation rules, media guidelines, and event policies
• Any restrictions imposed by organizers must be strictly respected
• The contributor is solely responsible for ensuring that the images are used within the scope of permitted editorial rights

4. Public & Private Spaces

Photography captured in public environments (such as stadiums, public events, or open venues) is generally acceptable for editorial use. However:

• Images must not violate reasonable expectations of privacy
• Intrusive, sensitive, or misleading content must be avoided
• Special care must be taken when photographing individuals in semi-private or restricted areas (e.g., VIP sections, private boxes)

5. Third-Party Claims

In the event of a copyright or ownership claim:

• The contributor may be required to provide proof of authorship, including RAW files, metadata, and supporting documentation
• Camerapixo Press reserves the right to immediately remove or suspend access to the content during investigation
• If infringement is confirmed, the contributor may be held responsible for:
• Any related financial claims
• Legal expenses
• Damages resulting from unauthorized use
• The contributor agrees to respond to any requests for verification promptly and within a reasonable timeframe.

6. Verification & Documentation

Camerapixo Press reserves the right to request:

• RAW files or original image data
• Metadata (EXIF data)
• Event details (date, location, accreditation context)

Failure to provide sufficient verification may result in removal of content and suspension of contributor privileges.

7. Platform Rights

By submitting content, you grant Camerapixo Press a non-exclusive right to publish, display, reproduce, and distribute the material across all current and future platforms operated by Camerapixo Press, including but not limited to:

• Website and online platforms
• Digital publications (including flipbooks and downloadable materials)
• Printed magazines and books
• Social media and promotional materials

All copyrights remain with the original author.

8. Policy Enforcement

Camerapixo Press reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to:

• Remove any content that violates or is suspected of violating these guidelines
• Suspend or terminate contributor access
• Take appropriate action in response to legal, ethical, or reputational risks

9. Legal Responsibility & Indemnification

By submitting content to Camerapixo Press, you explicitly confirm and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for the content you submit
• You guarantee that the submitted material does not infringe upon any third-party rights, including copyright, licensing, privacy, or publicity rights

Camerapixo Press operates as a publishing platform and does not independently verify the authorship or legal status of all submitted content.

By submitting your work, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Camerapixo Press, its owners, partners, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees), without limitation:

• copyright infringement
• unauthorized use of third-party content
• violation of event or accreditation rules
• any legal disputes related to submitted materials

In the event of a claim, the contributor agrees to fully cooperate and provide all necessary documentation to support the legitimacy of the submitted content. This obligation survives the termination of any relationship with Camerapixo Press.

The contributor must maintain valid contact information and remain reachable in case of legal or editorial inquiries.

10. Editorial Control

Camerapixo Press reserves full editorial control over all submitted content, including the right to edit, crop, format, publish, or remove content at its sole discretion.

11. Independent Contributor Status

Contributors act as independent individuals and are not employees, partners, or representatives of Camerapixo Press. Submission of content does not establish any employment, agency, or partnership relationship.

12. No Obligation to Publish

Submission of content does not guarantee publication. Camerapixo Press reserves the right to refuse publication of any submitted content at its sole discretion.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

Camerapixo Press provides its platform and services on an “as-is” basis and makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, legality, ownership, or compliance of submitted content.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Camerapixo Press shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

• the submission of content
• the publication of content
• any legal disputes arising from or related to submitted materials

15. Governing Law

This policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Nevada, United States.

16. Policy Updates

Camerapixo Press reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
