We do not create an alternative to oppose.
We create it to show that things can be done differently.
With honesty, competence, and purpose.

We believe that photography can be a language of trust.
We believe that journalism begins with empathy.
We believe that freedom is a right — but knowledge makes it possible.

Independence as a Conscious Choice

Independence is not a status — it’s a daily decision.
A decision not to pursue profit at the cost of truth, not to conform to algorithms, and to speak in one’s own voice, even when it isn’t popular.

Awareness Where the Spotlight Doesn’t Reach

We tell what’s important, not just what’s newsworthy.
We go where life unfolds — not only where others look.
We record with thought, not on autopilot.

A Community That Gives Strength

We don’t work in isolation. We build a network of independent creators who support one another, share experience, and learn from each other.
Community gives us resilience — and a sense of responsibility.

Stories With a Face and a Heart

Behind every story stands a person.
We don’t generalize or oversimplify.
We give a voice to those who are unheard.
Instead of speaking for others, we let them speak for themselves.

Transparency and Personal Accountability

We don’t hide behind logos.
We sign our work.
We take responsibility for our decisions, words, and frames.
Trust is built where the author has the courage to stand behind their work.

Education as the Foundation of Freedom

There is no independence without awareness.
That’s why we keep learning — not only the craft, but also ethics, law, and context.
Education is our duty toward the audience.
The Camerapixo Academy is a space that supports this growth — but the choice and the journey belong to each of us.

Community as the Source of Freedom

We have no sponsors or political patrons.
Our strength lies in people who believe in the mission of independent journalism.
Thanks to our members, we can act ethically, calmly, and according to our own compass.
